The Yoke is the part that attaches to the lower part of the strut and then connects to the lower control arm (front drivers side).
I've been battling this for several days now and it's getting me frustrated. Sprayed PB blaster on the bolt and used a 2 jaw clamp and hit the side of the Yoke to break it loose off the bolt...that didn't work. Anyone have any good tips?
Thank you

Hey jayoldschool, I tried the chisel was difficult at first trying to find a spot to put the chisel, managed to put the chisel between the yoke and the lower control arm. It finally broke free! thank you for the advice.

Just wanted to update this, I was able to remove the yoke on the driver side off the lower control arm (with the help of jayoldschool). Wasn't able to remove the passenger side yoke off the lower control arm. Come to find out..... just needed to remove the bolt that holds the strut on the yoke, remove the sway bar link and lowered the lower control arm and was able to free the strut from the yoke. And then removed the whole strut assembly from the vehicle. I just left the Yoke attached to the lower control arm.
Note: You must remove the sway bar link so that the lower control arm can be lowered far enough so that the strut is free from the yoke.
