I've had the car for three months now and I'm very pleased with it.

The slight electrical glitch with the light switch in 'auto' (dims the dashbord lights for a while) that I reported earlier is so intermittent it's not worth worrying about outside routine service.

I've also had the tracking fine tuned (full laser alignment to original spec) due to slight excessive wear on the outside of the front tyres. It was out and this adjustment has made the steering feel better in the straight ahead position.

I would be interested to hear from any other owners.

We have had our car two months and the only issue is the electric window fault just posted about, car only had 7,000 miles when purchased and as wife's car, shopping trips only.

Only concern is lack of dealer presence and parts? Have you got someone who can fix your car if it has a fault.

Be sure to rotate your tires periodicaly. When the front suspension wears, the lower rear bushing get play in them and it throws off the alignment which causes the tires to wear uneven and cup.

Sorry for the delay in replying to you. I haven't really got anyone who can repair the car. I will take advice from the forum and ask the excellent Vauxhall specialist that looks after our Astra if they'll have a go! I will buy routine service items such as filters over the internet...doesn't seem to be a problem in this regard.

I've read on Pistonheads that Whitequay in Reading do servicing on Cadillac and Corvette so they will certainly be worth contacting too.

The whole thing is a bit of a risk really but at GBP 6.9k for a fully serviced Jan '06 minter it seemed worth a go - and so far so good.

Regards
