It’s been quite the quest to really see what these cars are capable of and I’m super happy to share these results.

Still through the factory catalytic converters, stock fuel pump with Kenne Bell boost-a-pump, ID725 injectors, windshield washer fluid for meth injection, Bullseye S372r @ 13psi, stock supercharger @ 12psi, stock throttle body and the all new intercooler lid which performed amazing on 3 back to back pulls in 4 minutes.

From back in my turbocharged Corvair Spyder days (1964/65) - the more heat you can keep in the exhaust pipes to the turbo the more boost you get. Might be worthwhile to experiment with wrapping the engine > turbocharger pipe(s) with a layer of woven fiberglass exhaust pipe insulation.

The entire hotside of the exhaust has been coated in Cerakote as well as the turbo exhaust housing, and it’s not shown but it also has an exhaust blanket on the exhaust housing.

The problem with the fiberglass wrap is that it retains water and moisture which leads to deterioration of the piping. I drive this car every day for 6 months of the year and it gets stuck driving in the rain which means all that fiberglass wrap will get soaked and rot the piping away. So I opted to ceramic coat it instead.
