A week ago I was wondering why there is not a muting option for turn signal clinking. Noticed yesterday my signals are now silent. Did a quick google to find many 3 gen CTS owners along with ATS, etc are seeing this issue. No real discoveries from dealers.

Frankly, I don't miss the sound, but am wary of this being the precursor to other BCM related issues.

Cadillac Service monitors: Any wisdom to impart?

Funny, I complained about the noise too when I first got the car. It seemed exceedingly loud compared to my Infiniti.

I've had the same problem on my 09 Silverado. Turn signal noise worked intermittently. Randomly the reduced power msg would come across the screen and it would run like shit and turn off all assists until I cleared the codes with my code reader. My guess was PCM/BCM. That's where I would start. I'm no tech though. I just don't like to pay the big bucks dealers charge if I can help it.

Update: My sounds reappeared, only to have disappeared again.
My biggest concern is it is possibly indicative of further BCM issues (like my seat position memory loss).

I would suggest of you're still under warranty to take it to the dealership. I noticed my car doing the same. I have an appointment to have it looked at and fixed.

What exactly could you do for us that the dealership couldn't do (which happens to be nothing, since nobody seems to have the solution to this problem)?

Add my 2014 CTS Vsport to the list of affected vehicles. Already been to the local dealership. They can't figure it out. And if you do a search of this website you will see that this has been a problem with various models for YEARS. Why can't the Cadillac engineers come up with a fix?

I had the EXACT issues with my 14 CTS. Dealer reports "cannot duplicate", so I video tapped it so they could not call me crazy. Never found a fix for it afer numerous trips to the dealership and software updates. I honestly like it toned down and or sond gone, as the ticking when it works is FAR too loud.

Mine goes in and out too. Been like that forever. Sometimes works, sometimes not. Same with door open chime.

The seat in my car sometimes remembers my seating position, and sometimes it doesn't. It sometimes backs up, and the steering wheel rises when I open the door, and sometimes it doesn't. The mirrors sometimes go to the correct position, and sometimes they don't.
I put some albums on an sd card, and popped it in. The songs play out of order. Some songs play twice, and other songs don't play at all. Maybe it's a setting, but so many other things are off that I just don't feel like wasting my time on it.
Oh, and the engine rattles.

My V-Sport also does the same thing with the turn signal going silent. Not as often as some have mentioned and usually comes back on after I stop then start the car. You can add me to this list as well.
Another annoying thing I found is the radio presets have a Red indicator light showing the station you are currently on. When you stop and turn off the engine then start the car again this indicator should turn on to show you the last station you were listening to. Intermittently, it does not and only illuminates after you change the station then go back to the one you were listening to when you get out of the car to park somewhere. To comment on the SD media; there is an A-Z scrolling feature for the albums I have in MP3 that intermittently works and then does not. My dealer is looking into these issues. So far, no luck. All these issues have been there since I bought my V-Sport over a year ago.

There are many "features" on the Vsport.
One of my favorites is the voice command game, where I ask "Play Rolling Stones" and we bet who is closest to what actually plays from my iPod.

Don't get me wrong, I love my V-sport, but some of the issues should have been caught in pre-production.

Is this a problem with CUE or Siri? I think it's Siri.
