Greetings All. I need to know where thee trunk pull-down unit is located. (please dont say in the trunk) I need to find the single wire for programming the remote key fob. Also, my passenger door is starting to fail. It will not open from the inside and it take great effort to open with the key from the outside. I hear the actuator when i turn the key but I have to do it several time b4 the door opens. Any advice?

I'm sure that others may be able to help you out but as far as the door, I would suggest that you take off the door panel(s) in order to get to the lock, check and see if there's anything that looks loose or out of place. Like I said, I'm sure that others will be able to help you out with the other stuff. Good luck, let us know how you make out.

The trunk pull down unit is the motorized latch in the center of the front edge of the trunk opening. Carefully lift the fabric trunk liner from around the area and you will find a black wire with a plastic plug on the end that is not connected to anything. Thats the wire you need to ground when you begin the re-programming sequence.

The wire is underneath the plastic trim, next to the latch, on the bottom.

For the door, spray an @$$ load of your favorite penetrating lubricant (I recommend ZEP) in the mechanism and just work it in by closing and opening the latch with a phillips head screw driver. It might help if you take the door panel off and spray some in the other areas of the mechanism.

hope this helps.
