hello everyone,
i own a 1997 seville sls, they just smogged the car, my check engine light came on, 3 codes, P1139, P0131, P0131, the P0131 IS O2 sensor low volts, bank 1, sensor 1, why would i have 2 codes the same? also, code P1139 says its manufacturer fuel air metering, what the heck is that? and how do you fix it? can i do it myself? or does it have to go to the dealer? let me know please, thanks

"the P0131 IS O2 sensor low volts, bank 1, sensor 1."
P1131 - Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) Circuit Low Variance Bank 1 Sensor 2

"code P1139 says its manufacturer fuel air metering"
P1139 - Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) Insufficient Switching Bank 1 Sensor 2

Not sure where you are getting your information from, but it's wrong. You probably need to replace that O2 sensor.
