I'd like having it switchable on my next car having had it on rental cars. Some areas do have long traffic lights and I'd be ok with it. But it is annoying in areas with stop signs every block or when doing parking lot maneuvers. A Prius is the only car I've driven where it is completely unnoticeable because of the electric motor gets the car rolling instantaneously.
Trifecta states this for 100% stock cars. Has HPT or EFI Live added this feature? Seems like there must be a coolant temp that must be crossed before it becomes active to allow the car to warm up in cold weather. Change the trigger value to 300* and no more autostop.
