hi i have a 02 ext with a 4l60e trans ..have heard that ppl are upgradeing with a 4l80e and getting better towing , mileage .. im also hopeing to get a overdrive our of the deal .. anyone have any useluff input ???

There is only slight differences between the 4l60 the 4l65 and the 4l 80 transmissions
It's mainly the torque rating(the last number)
If your truck has all wheel drive it has the 4l65
If it's rear wheel drive it has a 4l60
All of them are electronic controlled
