I have my 96 eldo,i turned off the traction control switch,i realized that first gear was not working, the car just started out in second gear.I turn off the traction control,i have my first gear back,"WTF",lol,Billy
No tranny problems there. That is how it was designed to work. The disengage button is intended to be used if you are stuck in the snow. It disables 1st gear to slow wheel spin to help you get out. Anytime TC is disabled, either intentionally or by a fault, you loose 1st gear. BTW, loss of ABS disables TC and therefore disables 1st gear as well.
No kidding,i learn something new every day,i'm so glad to hear that,i thank you for your response on my posting, again, thank you,Billy
