Looking for ideas or solutions. I have an '04 awd escalade with 44k miles. The traction control system has been activating over the last year and comes on so frequently that i have to turn it off while driving around town. The system activates whenver i pull off from a dead stop or slow down to below 10 mph. It occurs in any weather condition. The dealers have changed all the shock sensors and the steering position sensor and supposedly reset the system (whatever that means). The system will not activate if the car is accelerated hard from a dead stop. dealer claims wheel slip is normal, but this is my 3rd caddy (all purchased brand new) and have never had this issue. has anyone had this issue and been able to have it resolved. I don't even drive the truck anymore

Wheel speed sensors. I can't believe they didn't check this first.

Yep. I had the same issue with the traction activating when I pull away from a stop. The dealer removed and cleaned the wheel sensor and I have not had any issue since.
