Perhaps not the handling aspect but off the line these Toyos stick. Even with the maggie.SBONES said:thats what i run...for now...245 40 19..not as good as the gsd3..
GS-D3s are tremendous in the rain alsoSBONES said:true that...they do stick...alittle roll in the corners...gsd3's just felt better..toyo's are great tires.:bouncy:
like you wouldn't believe.blackonblackonblack said:Does better grip increase wheel hop?
I had it done at Mr Tire on Rte 40 in EC. I think it was $20 ea M&B. The mgr there did it personally , he didnt leave my wheels to some tire jocky. Not a mark on them. A precision front balance is critical!trukk said:Marty,
Who/where do you mount your tires? I had good luck with Ken's Goodyear @ Dobin in Columbia. I worked with the owners son Kenny.
Just curious, as I'd prefer to mail order my next set of tires, rather than go retail.
Thanks,
Chris
:yeah: You think he's gradually building another V maybe?GT04CTS-V said:Damn Marty - three hoods, three exhaust systems, and now three sets of skins, all on a car with less than 5,000 miles. WTF - That V sure is expensive. :-}

THis has been a paid advertisement!pietroraimondi said:He's also on his second set of custom 3 piece wheel rims as I just bought his new 3 piece wheel rims and new Toyos's that still had the "nubbies" on the tire treads! (lol). Marty is the CTS-V parts broker of the forum and a wealth of information and one decent guy to boot!
It's all good....... he has one of the coolest garages I've ever seen! Custom car lift, epoxy painted floor that you could perform heart surgery on......all pristine and not a tool out of place!
Sir Marty is one cool guy - Pete
