Edge is the best I've found for Toyo's. Did you up size? 255/45's? Just curious.

Marty,

Who/where do you mount your tires? I had good luck with Ken's Goodyear @ Dobin in Columbia. I worked with the owners son Kenny.

Just curious, as I'd prefer to mail order my next set of tires, rather than go retail.

Thanks,

Chris

I've had T1-S's on my C32 AMG. I had T1-R's on my Porsche 996 and I have T1-S's on my Caddy. My car still handles like a boat and I've already changed my suspension setup to eibach. I'm probably going to get Pirelli P-Zero Neros because it seems the Toyo setup isn't working out. Does better grip increase wheel hop?

I had it done at Mr Tire on Rte 40 in EC. I think it was $20 ea M&B. The mgr there did it personally , he didnt leave my wheels to some tire jocky. Not a mark on them. A precision front balance is critical!

Damn Marty - three hoods, three exhaust systems, and now three sets of skins, all on a car with less than 5,000 miles. WTF - That V sure is expensive. :-}

Wait a minute. Youcant count the OEM stuff.

Its the 2nd set of skins 2nd hood. (I didnt get the third one yet)!
Plus, I sold the other stuff so Im down a grand. But the new skins are 'right'.
Im happy now.

BTW, I blew the doors off an SL convt AMG this week. He got a few hundred yards jump on me but I blew past him on Rt 40 so fast his hair was standing up!
Rick, good tune!

When I get the cowl, the grater hood is for sale!

He's also on his second set of custom 3 piece wheel rims as I just bought his new 3 piece wheel rims and new Toyos's that still had the "nubbies" on the tire treads! (lol). Marty is the CTS-V parts broker of the forum and a wealth of information and one decent guy to boot!

It's all good....... he has one of the coolest garages I've ever seen! Custom car lift, epoxy painted floor that you could perform heart surgery on......all pristine and not a tool out of place!

Sir Marty is one cool guy - Pete
