I went and looked at some V's last weekend and noticed that the tower brace looked like it might improve the driving on my grandmother's Escort and was ugly as sin. I was wondering if anyone had the specifcations that came with their OEM brace or the factory one. I will be with some people over the 4th that have a full manufacturing shop where they make radar arches/wake board towers for boats and I know that my friend and I can make something better than the factory. If it works out might be able to kick a few out and find some testers who might like one. If someone has tried this in the past and it failed miserably or lost an arm, please stop me before dismember myself and have to get one of those lame slushbox STS-V's. Thanks for your help/input in advance.

I just took mine off today to install a maggie. I also called Magnuson today to get the one they sell in order to clear the supercharger, but they haven't called back. I have heard, however, they're on the enemic side ... flimsier than stock.

Now, I must say, I've not heard of anyone here having a problem with their stock brace, nor have I heard the maggie guys here complain about the Magnuson one. Maybe this thread will stir up some thoughts, and maybe this thread will die a would-be entrepreneur's dream.

OMG! That was my 3,000th post.
