I am a new member with an '07 Escalade AWD. I live in South Carolina and bought the Caddy to transport my four kids. However, I am an enthusiast and want to lower my truck for a more aggressive stance. I have purchased the McGaughy's 2/3 drop kit.

After doing some research here and elsewhere, it seems like something I might do myself. So I have two question that I hope you may help me with.

1. What tools do I need to do the job? Any special ones?

2. Is there a magazine write-up detailing this suspension kit installation?

Forgive me if I have missed this in the archives somewhere.

Thanks!

There are really no special tools that you need. The most exotic tool that you will need is a ball joint fork. You could use all hand tools but I recomend an impact where you can fit it. You will also need a cutoff wheel to shorten some bolts.
