To Buy Extended Warranty or Not?

Ok Im almost at 50k miles on my 05' CTS-V and I need to decide if I should get the extended warranty or not... I think the 5-year/50k mi warranty extension runs $3100 (from the dealership)

please give your opinion and explain your answer
