I too hate the drips from the bezel, but I find a micro-fiber cloth & some Meguiars' Quick Detailer much easier than removing the bezel!!!

Good idea Jon. You have a small gap at the bottom of the welting. For any reason?
In case water does get in from the top somewhere, it has a place to come back out. Don't want to drive around with a tank of water back there, lol! ;)

I suspected that was your logic. Good engineering.
Thank you :)

I thought of it for months but never got around to doing it.

Also nice to see that you're still around. :)

So does water still get in there after washing your car? And if so, wouldn't it just leak out that gap?

Water doesn't get in anymore. I just put that gap there as a fail safe.

good idea Jon... To bad GM dosent have rocket scientists like you!

PS - That is NOT a stab at you. It is GM being fcukin retards.
lol I know. :)

I wondered the same thing when I took the Bezel off. There is SOME stripping there, but only the top works. There's nothing on the corners, which is were teh water gets in from.
