I think I may have messed up. I just received some new tires for my 03 and I ordered 225/50-16's instead of 225/60-16's. I know the sidewalls are smaller but are they too small? They're going on stock 16" wheels...Aside from a stiffer ride what can I expect from them? Should I return them and order the 60 series or...

thanks in advance

Those are gonna look small. My stock tires were 225/50R17 (a full inch larger than what you ordered), and I thought they didn't fill the wheel well enough. Now that I've gone to 245/45R18's, a full inch larger diameter than the old ones, they fit just perfect.

Yeah that's what I was thinking. I have them setting in front of the current tires but I still don't know. they don't look bad...I'm afraid if I mount them, I won't be able to return them.

Yeah, guess being out the shipping charges both ways will be punishment enough for not paying cloes enough attention. There is a differnce between a 5 and a 6...I'm going to look at 17's now and see what I can find...

Oh and this is a great site for info. I've been hovering for a couple of months and just want to say how helpful this is.

Thanks
