Living in the northeast and having a RWD car I bought a second set of wheels and snow tires for my new to me '15 ATS this past winter. First while we didn't have a horrible winter the handful of times I was required to drive in the snow I would say the snow tires did a great job and I felt my RWD car was better than any FWD car with new All-season tires.

Now moving to my question I've changed back to my 18" summer tires and I need to reset the tire pressure monitors. The dealer did the change for free the first time but is there a home garage method for me to tell the ATS that the summer wheels and tires are on the car and therefore reset to the sensors in those wheels?

Thanks and best regards

We had a horrible winter with a metric shit tonne of snow, and my RWD 6MT ATS is the best winter car I have ever owned.
It is so well balanced, even in heavy snow, that with good winter tires, it is a beast.

Buy the reset tool off Amazon, and follow the procedure above.
Point the tip of the tool towards the tire, not the wheel, and listen for the beeps.
