I have a 2014 CTS coupe. RWD with 20" rims. Tires are Michelin pilot super sport. Front are 255/35/zr20 Back are 275/35/zr20
Problem that I have is the road noise. It's either I get a quiet tires or get rid of the car. Cannot stand the noise.
Can anyone suggest a tire in the sizes that I have that will be QUIET. Thanks Jerry

Your size tire is the biggest noise maker. The wider the noisier, Just google quiet cars tires and found many site for info, here is one; https://www.tirebuyer.com/education/find-a-quiet-tire

Mullah88 Thanks for the information on the Goodyear's I will check into them.
TheFlash I found that web page before posting. Good information.
My problem is the tires they mention, are not available in my size. I was hoping that someone that has that tire size could give some feed back. Thanks Jerry

I don't have an answer but I do have a question. Have you by any chance lowered the vehicle? I'm planning to lower my '08 CTS about 1-1 1/2" but then wonder how much wheel/tire will fit.

Lack of a quality alignment or suspension wear can feather the tires and cause noise. Might want to check that before blaming it on the tires. An assurance from Cletus at the local tire shop that your alignment is "within factory specs" does not qualify as a good alignment, BTW.

The larger, wider and stickier the tires are the more critical alignment is.

Same car with 20” offset rims at 8.5 front and 10.5 rear. 245/45 front and 288/35 rear. I have Pirelli all the way and very quiet.
