Hello everybody!
My next oncoming project is front engine mount. Got mount, got tools.. working on getting good weather..
As manual I'm going to use this thread http://www.cadillacforums.com/forums/cadillac-tech-tips/239484-seville-front-motor-mount-replacement-how.html even it is not about Deville, I'm pretty sure that kind of the stuff looks absolutely the same. This is the best step by step thread with pictures I found. Now I can understand what is going on.
I will appreciate all tips because I didn't start yet and want to make it same day w/o problems. Also my question, will I need 25" breaker bar or 18" will be fine? I know, cradle bolts high torqued.

Thanks everybody!

Finished today. Put everything back except upper right bolt. I can't. Just can't put it. Not from the top, nor from the bottom. I figured it is not going to make big difference cause other 3 are tight. More over I'm going to install Ranger's struts for extra relief.
BUT engine still shakes when I change the gear. Not so hard like before, but I still can feel that shake. Is it ok?? Before I posted my side ones and you guys said they are ok. They are really look fine with no visible damage and no leak either.
Another thing.. I found my fans don't run. Just like that. Not running. I put temperature gauge almost to the middle (w/o couple of mm, maybe) and they still didn't run. AND I also saw and smell some smoke. My best guess is burning leaking oil. It comes from the bottom somewhere between engine and fans (I noticed that when pulled fat hose to see what is going on between engine and mount). So, what do you think it is?

----------

So far as I know, fans act on their own. But I have never took a look at them are they running are not..
Could I damage them or its connections somehow?

----------

And yes, it is 41 F outside. Pretty cold.

----------

Went for 5 mile trip... No more smoke (I guess all falled garbage burned. But fans still not running. Everything is hot but gauge in the middle, no overheating.

the cooling fans don't run until the temp gets to 224*
then they run on LOW speed -

but the fans SHOULD run at any temp if you turn the AC on -

Checked with AC on - they do run. :worship: Actually it is hard to run 60 F AC having 41 F outside...
So far as smog.. Let's say burning oil or... spilled PSF... :suspect:
Just one thing left... mount itself. Tomorrow Im going to film it and post it here, so you'll tell me how is it. May be this is ok. I can barely feel the kick when I put R, but when I put D it has a good kick. But once again, it is uncomparable to something I had before. Before I had "jump", not the "kick".
Thank you guys!

Well. Here we go, guys... Grab popcorn and soda.. Entertainment begins..

Side mounts look like new and sitting solid.
Front one - is problem.. Just piece of crap. The bottom rubber stretches up when get stressed during shifting.

----------

Mine installed DEA A5302HY: http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-O-E-M-Fr...c765be&vxp=mtr

Look at the same model but w/o "HY" : http://www.ebay.com/itm/Deville-Auro...ac801b&vxp=mtr

As you can see the bottoms are different. And mine stretches up during shifting. Second one looks kind of solid one.
Which one should I have? I guess second one.. Are they both OEM? Why prices are different in this case? Same DEA in the pic one has GM label and looks the same as mine but mine doesn't have this label. Is DEA appears to be OEM? Because DEA costs 2 times cheaper than other one which states to be just OEM. But whenever sells DEA they advertised it to be OEM. I'm confused. HELP! PLEASE! :(

----------

The next thing is smoke. I found the source. Exhaust manifold appears to be... Is it bad? Is it serious? I think I drive it for 4 years like that... Chime in, guys!
