Well I finally got a chance to work on the heat exchanger project. This is the first 100% bolt in unit for a reasonable price. Over twice the thickness of the stock one with much better flow characteristics. Single pass design is more efficient than multi-pass designs.

Core is 27x13.5x1.75

No cutting or drilling for installation

Lookin tough behind the grilles

$299. PM me for order info.

Looks like it will perform much better than the factory unit. Its too bad that its so visible behind the V grill, the look just isn't my taste. Do you think painted endtanks would make it look more "factory"?
You could always dust it with satin black paint to make it less visible. That's all the factory does. I don't think it affects the heat transfer too much as long as you don't drown it with paint.

How much of a temp drop have you seen in your IATs with the bigger heat exchanger?
There is too much snow on the ground to do much testing right now.

What all is involved in terms of parts and install. $299 is a great price. Yea, I know, remove the front bumper cover... :D
It comes with bolts and hose to tie into the stock piping. There is one tee fitting on the inlet side of the pump that needs to be turned around but that's pretty much it.

A coolant pump upgrade is not required to use this heat exchanger. It doesn't matter how much coolant is in the system; the pump will circulate whatever is in there just the same.
