time sert or big sert

I time serted my eldo, after going in the second time to replace the crank and bearings one of the headbolt striped so i need big serts.

I just got a sts that needs gaskets so can i go with big serts right from the start? I want the big sert kit for both cars.

You can but I would do the time sert standard first as the big sert is your last chance to save the block. sts96

I agree with sts96. Why use your ace in the hole right from the start.

You can, but if they pull again you're really boned... It'll be cheaper to do big-serts for you since you already need the kits, but if they pull it will be a few grand for a new engine.
