Hi, my cts has a CD ROM navigation, and certain pictures I see of 03 cts's same as mine, they display the time in the lower left hand corner box, but it does not display on mine. Is there somethign wrong with my system, is there any way to enable me to see the time on the navi, i hate using the analog clock. THanks!

:hmm: I doubt if there's a difference with the time display between the CD NAV and the DVD NAV. Go in the menu, round button, bottom left. Go to setup and clock. Set the clock and see what happens.

yea i did that, but theres no option for the time to display, maybe I should take it to the dealer, i thought it was normal, but started seeing all these pics of 03 cts's on ebay with the time displayed. Thanks for the reply.

:hmm: Check with Odysseus. He's got a '03 with CD ROM NAV. He can answer this question.

Mine displays the time in the lower left corner, but I don't recall if I had to hit a 'display time' option somewhere in the setup menu. I also upgraded my instrument panel to the temp guage one, so I wonder if the car's smart enough to know there's no IP clock any more. I'll look at my setup menu's in the morning and report back if I figure it out.

I have an early '03 with the analog clock, and I have the same problem. I noticed all the '03's on Ebay display a digital clock on the radio. I can't find anyway to get it to display on mine. (Bose, no NAV). The only thing you can do with the clock on the radio is set it so it adjusts the analog one. Even when you shut off the radio...its just a blank display with the small font up top for outside temp. :hmm:

my 03 is very early model too, the build date is January of 2002. Maybe this was an early build date problem? My car is going in for service soon, i'll compain about it then.

Check if you have the 'TRAFFIC' option on in your navigation. This will make the radio freq show up in that corner in stead of the time.

I'll have to take a look at the menu on my car. I have an 03 with the base radio and the instrument cluster with the clock (which was off by 20 minutes when I bought it). The time displays on my screen just fine. My only gripe is the ID tags for the radio stations dont always read very well. I usually only get the first half of the song name or artist, the message doesnt seem to scroll before switching back to the time display.

Caddyman, you have me beat! Mine is a mid-Feb 02 build date. The nav that I retrofitted is also a mid-Feb build date. I'm wondering if the car is smart enough to not display two clocks at once. I upgraded my IP to the temp gauge at the same time I installed the Nav, so I didn't note if it displayed the time with the old IP.

I didn't find any clock display option this morning. If push the 'main' button and go to the setup menu, then clock, you can basically only set the time, not change whether it displays or not. I'm stumped as to why yours won't show up.

Thanks odysseus for checking that out for me. I guess I'll just go the the dealer and ask them whats up. Its not some major problem for me, just a slight annoyance. One more question, when you upgraded the 04 cluster, the temp guage worked fine without any modification to wiring?
