Did anyone else get screwed up by the time change today?

I had to dial into an 8:30 AM conference call this morning (re: a corporate merger we're doing). I know. It is Sunday morning, but that is a topic for a different thread.

I set my alarm clock, got up, and dialed in. Nobody was there! I sat there for about 10 minutes before I figured it out. I thought everyone was late. I didn't know what the hell was going on. Dah!

Fortunately, I was an hour early, and was able to dial in an hour later and attend the meeting.

It doesnt bother me, Its the start of my favourite time of year, when the nights close in early, and there is an excuse to light all the fires.

I hate seeing my fireplaces unlit during the summer, it looks bare and unwelcoming.

I also have free fire wood :D

I usually have to buy it in, which isnt so bad because it comes in pre cut 12 inch quarter logs, but this year i felled a tree on my land to build my new garage, and its chopped up, dry and ready to be burned :D

Theres half a garage stall with lots of firewood in it :D:D

Yeah all of mine do. The clock in my VW does too, im not sure if that was the car or my wife though, she took it out of the garage this morning so it could have been her.

They are atomic clocks, and thats what they do! They tell me the outside/inside temperatures, the moon phases, the day of the week and the time - and since they're atomic, they set themselves...I just have to tell them what time zone I'm in...
