I like it for curbside parking; so it is set for passenger side on.I wonder if anyone likes that feature, seems useless to me.
Me too!I like it for curbside parking; so it is set for passenger side on.
it's an amazing feature if you care about your wheels and fenders, since you can't see through doors ...especially in tight parking situationsI wonder if anyone likes that feature, seems useless to me.
I agree, but the surround vision on my 2018 Premium Luxury is even better.it's an amazing feature if you care about your wheels and fenders, since you can't see through doors ...especially in tight parking situations
to a point it's better... but when you get close the cameras feeds are twisted and stretched in order to be stitched into one contiguous top-down view and thus is distorted...if you need proof turn on your birdseye camera and turn the steering wheel to full lock, you will see the tire come out of your headlights....end result is you can still curb a wheel using the birdseye when you think you have spaceI agree, but the surround vision on my 2018 Premium Luxury is even better.

it's best to combine strategies (use windows/use mirrors/use cameras) to best look after your car
I won't dispute this...your experience is yours, and you must have a special car. That is not my experience.
Interesting comment from someone with a pair of V's. You claim to care about wheels and fenders?!it's an amazing feature if you care about your wheels and fenders, since you can't see through doors ...especially in tight parking situations
I do not have a "special car." It's a production unit that I special ordered so I could get the exact options I wanted. I went and checked again. When turning the wheels they do not "come out of the headlights." They appear where they're supposed to be, both left and right. Perhaps Cadillac improved the surround vision system in the 2018+ models versus your 2016 model.I won't dispute this...your experience is yours, and you must have a special car.
hopped into my car then one of my 2019's on the lot and check...here's what i found:I do not have a "special car." when you live in nice neighborhoods...like I do...you are not the only person to have the idea to "park in the far reaches to protect one's investment"... in fact I do just that only to return to find other cars clustered around mine....Interesting comment from someone with a pair of V's. You claim to care about wheels and fenders?!
Sorry but I would not even attempt a "tight parking situation". Bad enough with people that don't care about their vehicles trying to get out of the tight situation you put them in.
Another reason to park in the far reaches to protect one's investment.
have you tried them again?....how have the mirrors worked out for you?I guess I will have to give the tilt mirrors another try since so many of you guys like that feature.
