Is anyone Familiar with the TPS Code P0122 ?
Where is it located on 1999 DeVille ?
Can a wantobe wrench fix it ?
About how much am I looking at.
Last night the car accelerated out of control. Two days ago the car threw a code P0122 then the light went out. I looked up the code it says Low Voltage to the TPS.
I Just purchased the car 5 days ago. Should the Used Car Dealer be responsible ?
Just Wondering

Depend if you have any warranty with the car, if not it's on you for repairs.
No way is a TPS going to make the car accelerate on it's own. Stall yes...
If the throttle stuck I would suggest you check the throttle(and cable) for any binding or sticking.

P0122 TPS/pedal position sensor A circuit low input.

Without going to the manual I would think A circuit is bat voltage. check the sensors wires it is located on the throttle body. Mike

Was this AFTER you stepped on the throttle? If so, chances are that the throttle stuck open because you are in need of a TB cleaning.

Used cars are almost ALWAYS sold AS IS unless you negotiated differently.
