I remove the IAC (2 screws), and clean it with a paper towel soaked in TB cleaner, then spray and wipe it's cavity in the TB. Not that it's ever that dirty, I'm just thorough.

I remove the intake air ducting and use a piece of 2 X 4 wedged against the driver seat front skirt to hold the accelerator pedal to the floor - throttle wide open. Using good light, lint-free rags, an old toothbrush, and throttlebody cleaner spray I then proceed to carefully wet the interior bore and throttle blade, scrubbing them until clean. DO NOT excessively spray directly past the throttle blade - straight into the intake manifold. As does MC, I also clean out the IAC bore.
