look, it's a convertible..... but it's a '99 ETC...... he says it's all factory with the factory warrantee etc...

I don't even think it was a ultra-limited production or something, that had to have been done by an outside shop, but he dosn't say anything about it.....

....perhaps if Cadillac actually made an Eldorado convertible for the past few years, they woduln't have to kill the Eldorado, and it would have brought their sales up.

G
Florida - Its a custom from some shop down there. It (they?) advertise in Dupont"s Car Magazine every month (or they did). They do convertibles for just about any car, IIRC. Its not an original GM item, but you have to wonder why GM never considered a droptop to start with...no wait, this IS GM we're talking about here.
A freind of mine has a few dealerships down there. He sells them through his place outside Boca called Bayview Cadillac. They are built by an aftermarket guy.

Bayview Cadillac eh?

the plague on the back of my mothers '89 Brougham (which is a gold edition, with this huge special grille) says "Custom Gold Edition by Bayview Cadillac"

The car came with every single option.... Astroroof, the reading lights in the back, it is light grey with a black top, but it's not vinyl, it's a nice material...dunno what it is.... it is really a nice car, but needs some TLC....

When she get's back later today, I'll snap a pciture
WOW!!! That is nice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have seen those IN PERSON..... They are beyond solid...... Beyond golden.....

I saw one of those when driving in RURAL INDIANA, and then, within a mile on the same road, I saw a dodge viper.... That had to be one of the best car moments in a long time......
I see alot of '91-'93 DeVilles with a convertible conversino (one on ebay right now) but becuase it's a uni-body I question the strength of the body, as I like to make sure the car is as solid as it car be....something with my style car, when it is made in a drop top, it just looks too soo, like it was made for it.
They can be done right but unfortunately, many are not.
