Hi,
I've got 96k miles on my '99 Sedan de Ville. The radiator has begun to leak, big time, on the passengers side near the top.
If I replace it myself, what should I look out for? Does the A/C need to be removed, etc.
Also, I'm planning on getting it re-cored at a radiator shop instead of ordering a plastic unit.

What do you guys think?
Many Thanks
Pat

I considered doing similar, but bought a new unit at RockAuto for less than having the old radiator serviced at any of the local radiator shops.

No, you should not have to do anything with the A/C.

I agree with Dave. Getting it re-cored still leaves you with two 13 year old side tanks, that are prone to leaks anyway. Get a new radiator.
