The New Lexus LS - 7 Series Lookalike?

So does anyone find it interesting how initially Lexus used the Mercedes S-Class for their first and second LS design (not a bad idea, really) - and now they're using the BMW 7-series?

I've always said that if you use the theories and formulas for aerodynamics, handling and capacity you will ultimately come down to one design shape. All the designers must be using the same software.
My wife calls them jelly beans.

it looks wierd...It does look like a 5 series, definetly not Lexus conservative anymore!

I actually like the new design. This is their best looking car yet.. It's definitely going to be a head-turner...

Oh, and I merged these threads.. I beat ya to it, Playdrv4me! We were on the same page today. :p

It sure looks like a new 7-series, but I like it. I like the rear-end, especially the trunk line. The wheels don't do much for me though. The exhaust in the bumper has a nice look to it. I'll take one over a 7-series anyday though.
