I just wanted to know whether what you removed was merely carpet or foam backed carpet.I've got no clue, whatever was there is still attached to the bottom of the carpet in a box. I hope it does. Supposedly those splitters see hundreds of pounds of force, which is going to be directed into the supporting structure. If you can't stand on it, I wouldn't drive with it.We'll see how it holds up...
