Sorry about this, but I'm a newbie....

Got a 2000 SLS, and wish to reprogram a keyless remote. All part numbers match the original. I tried the "Unlock switch-turn key twice" routine and that did not work. I don't have a scan tool. Any ideas or advice on how to program the remote without helping the dealer pay for his summer cottage?

Don't forget to check the remote's batteries.
