Temporary Loss of Power Steering

My 2006 V6 CTS decided to seriously flake out this evening. After a short stop on the commute home, restarting the car resulted in the power steering being gone, the ABS, parking brake and TPMS lights being lit up. In addition, the console message panel was cycling the following messages:

Check Brake Assist Sys
Check Stability Sys
Check Steering Sys

Got it home and tried again after about an hour with the same result. After another hour, everything decided to work normally again.

I plan on taking it into the dealer tomorrow. Just curious if this has been a common occurence and maybe get a little heads up on what the dealer has in store for me.
