The outside temp monitor on my 96 Eldo seems to be working incorrectly. This isn't a big problem for me unless it changes the way the heat works. I'm not sure if the car adjusts the heat based on the ouside temp. When ever I get in the car, it registers the outside temp way too high, last night it mst have been in the 20s-30s and it said 72. Can I reprogram this or is there a part that has to be replaced?

Its possible the ambeint temp sensor is bad.... im not sure where they are located, but Id look into it...... If you have the climate control set at auto all the time, it may not work quite right if it thinks its 70 outside when its really 30.... I cant say what it would do.....

ID look into replacing it, however there may be a way to reprogram it..... Just for kicks and giggles, Id unplug the battery overnight and see if that helps,to sorta let it "reset" itself.....
