Ok well my 2000 eldo has the TCC problem and i have decided NOT to fix it.
but this problem is how in over drive the clutch will not lock up so there will always be some slippage in OD.
but when i go to accelerate will it slip even more then it should ? because i have put my peddle to the carpet and it doesn't feel quite as peppish as my 1994 with out the problem.
it fells like the engine is slipping to much when under acceleration.
but when i'm in 2nd from a stop it is very different. i can hit it and then peel out . but i can't when in drive.

Not exactly sure what to tell you, but I do know that the TCC does not lock up until 41 MPH if that is of any help. Not sure if it has to be in OD to do that or not.
