Hey guy's, I'm having a hard time removing tar and road grime from lower part of my car, especially behind the wheels. before I go out and buy any type of
bug and tar removal I was wondering what you guy's are using. I don't want to damage the paint.

Simple Green cut with water.. Too much will take the wax off the car. Or Turtle Wax Bug and tar works as well.. I use what ever I have handy..

I use the spray on Turtle Wax Bug and Tar remover. It works really well. You wouldn't believe the amount of tar and rubber marks on my Corvette after a day at the track. The Turtle Wax Bug and Tar remover takes it off very easily without having to scrub. I'd rather remove it easily at the expense of having to rewax than to scrub away on the paint.

WD-40 works extremly well as it penetrates the tar and grime quickly. Its not abrassive as its slick as hell when rubbing the spots. Another option is Purple Power Wash and Wax, it seems to have something in it that cuts thru a lot of grime and leaves a clean slightly waxy finish after. Good Luck!

Stoner brand Tarminex. Honestly I think it is WD40. Looks, smells and acts just like it. Target just reset their stores and discontinued this product at 99 cents a can. I bought every one they had (6). Also their Invisible Glass cleaner is incredible.
