Okay, I've found some good information about removing the Instrument Cluster, but beyond that, I couldn't find much.

I'm having some noise and vibration coming from the HVAC blower motor area. I've got the passenger glove compartment out, airbag out, and radio out. I can see the blower motor on the passenger side. Does anyone know if I have to take the entire dash out to remove the blower motor? If not, what do I need to do? And if the dash does need to come out, does anyone have a writeup?

Oh, and as a side note, whoever designed the Catera at GM needs to be fired. There are two screws and one bolt that hold the airbag cover on, and guess what? All three are not the same. The two screws are an odd size 27 torx, and the bolt is a 5mm allen, which is a PITA to get out.

Are you trying to take the blower motor out? Is it bad? Mine went out, but it happened to be one of those Maxi 30A fuses under the dash.
Yeah, I'm trying to take it out. It's vibrating like crazy and just gets worse as I turn the fan speed up. It works without much vibration on fan speed 1 and 2, but in Tampa heat, that doesn't cut it.

The motor itself is fine. I'm pretty sure a blade on the impeller broke off, or is loose, or something else.
