2004 Deville;

Taillights don't come on with headlights when auto activated at night time. They do come on when switch is used to turn on head and taillights.

Anyone have any thoughts?

Thanks,

make sure you have the twilight sentenal switch turned on. Otherwise I wouldn't know where to start. Does your 04 still ride like a champion?

BTW..
With the sentenal off the headlights will come on and the tail lights remain off.

Like Jordan said make sure the twilight sentinel slider switch is turned on or your driving around at night with only your daytime running lights on.

Thanks, Did not even know there was a switch for it.

Yes, Caddy rides like a dream. I just bought it for trips. It had low miles and needed a bigger car to go back and forth MA-FL. (Snowbird).
The last caddy I owned was a (don't laugh) 1947 that my Dad's friend gave me when I was 15. It needed a valve job and he did not want to put the money into it. Wish I still had it!!!

Thanks again for the info. Sorry to take so long getting back on, I have been on the road and have not had much access to the forum.
