LED taillights are not OEM, I believe there are 3 or 4 different brands out there (with possible different type LEDs used)....and to my knowledge, none of the aftermarket taillights come with user replaceable LEDs (meaning, the assemblies are probably glue together, and the LED's will be directly soldered to the board). But, you still may be able to crack open the light assembly and replace an LED.
Also, I'm not sure anyone will know the LED type, you may need to pull the light, open it, and see what LED type your particular tail light is using. Can you post up more info...like the brand of the taillight?

Perhaps only the bulbs were switched to led. If that is the case, then 3157. My advise is to replace all at the same time AND don't cheap out on them. The cheaper the led, the less life they have.

Thanks KOT... That's exactly what he did and used LED bulbs... But only one side is out... Wondering if that's a totally different issue. I guess now to look for good LED bulbs...

I noticed a few different types of 3157 LED bulbs... The round ones with all the LED bulbs on top and the longer type with LED's on the front and sides...
