The salesman assured my wife that if she decided she didn't like the second row bench (she's always had buckets but for various reasons as the kids age now wants a bench), she could swap it out for buckets. I wouldn't rely on that unless it was on the "We Owe" sheet at least, but is it true?

I do see in the brochure that it says "may be substituted" but at the dealer level or the factory level? Has anyone done this? It appears very hard to locate a bench in a Premium at all, let alone in Kona (a different thread).

Thanks,
Dave

Why would you want a bench? I had an escalade hybrid and it only comes with a second row bench. Unlike the platinum captains, there is no recline adjustment. The bench is in upright the whole time. I prefer the captain chair because it makes it easy for the kids to go from 2nd row to 3rd row. You can recline it as well. It has the same heated seats and its power folded.
