B & B cat back with resonator just wasn't quite loud enough so I bought a x pipe and installed it yesterday. Boy am I suprised at how much louder it didn't make it. I think its only maybe 5 db loud

I don't really notice any power improvements either. Really sorta dissapointing.

Now I have a small vibration, I'm guessing it is one of the many heat shields under the car vibrating from the resonance.

Who else has done this and what was your experience?

I did the same and I think it sounds much better but isn't all that loud. My next step is to get headers without cats. Actually the new B&B headers with test pipes would be the best bet. So they can be put back in for emissions testing That makes it sound much better.

Choke!

That's a ton for an X pipe! I had one installed (part included for $100).

not the same, if you're referring to your magnaflow.
the BB x-pipe is a substantial piece of 3" stainless with perfect welds.
