Is there any need to provide lubrication to the suspension components such as control arms etc? I know that the rubber bushings are supposed to be providing the smooth interaction between components, but have found that some parts are much more quiet with some grease. What is everyone else's take on this?

Unless you get replacement ball joints/ rod ends that can be lubricated the only thing I know you can do is grease the sway bar mounts by removing and replacing after greasing the interface.

Thank you for the reply. What types of symptoms occur when sway bars are dry and need grease?

Former Cadillac dealer mechanic used to spray lube the bottom of my 2004 SRX once a year. Messy, but it did quiet things down. Eventually replaced ball joints Moog units that can be greased.
