I have a 1998 deville N* 150K and am replacing the surge tank cap, I have read on this forum in several places to use "only" a 15 PSI cap , but evey parts store only sells a 16 PSI for my car. Do I need to ask for a 15 PSI? or am I misunderstanding the threads on here and a 16 pound cap is alright?

overheating problems, so far changed the water pump and radiator both were bad, also a new thermostat, used to run 196 - 199, now runs 212 - 230 .. fans are working fine, coolent is level is fine, so going to try another thermostat and a new cap.

The pressure should be stamped on the original cap if I am not mistaken, but I doubt 1 lb. higher would make much difference.
