although Hand held tuners are nothing compared to a dyno tune. My buddy has one and will sell it to me for super cheap. Is it worth getting or is it a complete waste? thanks

Complete waste. Do a search in the CTS forum about their experience with Superchips.

I'll give you the short version: The owner of the company is a thief and liar.

Jeremy Formato travels around to Corvette shops all over the place, and his tunes are (reportedly) second to none. Google his name to get the contact info and find out when he'll be near you.

Vinci Performance in Maitland is also a good place. An acquaintance of mine had his C5 cammed and tuned there, and it's a beast.
