Super Cruise (UKL):

Super Cruise will not be available on MY22 Escalade orders until further notice, regardless of whether orders have already been placed. Please advise your sold order customers immediately and counsel directly with all customers who ordered/purchase affected vehicles to ensure each customer understands their vehicles content.

Beginning with production on May 9, 2022, MY22 Escalade vehicles will be forced to include RPO (00U) ‘Not Equipped with Super Cruise (UKL)’, which removes Super Cruise (UKL) and its content. Super Cruise (UKL) will not appear on the invoice or the window label. Please note that Super Cruise (UKL) will continue to appear on the Order Work Bench (OWB) vehicle order acknowledgement after 00U ‘Not Equipped with Super Cruise (UKL)’ is added. This change takes effect starting with all MY22 vehicles produced beginning May 9, 2022.

Beginning 5/9/22, the Escalade Order Guide will be updated to show Super Cruise (UKL) as an available option (not standard content) for the remainder of the 22MY. Until Super Cruise (UKL) becomes buildable, the feature will show as a reference only with the footnote Beginning with production starting May 9, 2022, vehicles will be forced to include (00U) Not Equipped with Super Cruise, which removes Super Cruise and its content. See dealer for details or the window label for the features on a specific vehicle.”

Pricing Impacts

Super Cruise (UKL) was previously adjusted to be priced as an available $2,500 option. All vehicles built without Super Cruise will be invoiced without this available option.

This is all we know at this point in time. We will update you as we hear additional information. We have not been told about 2023 production.

First post after I went into my first local dealer today in Cincinnati for an Escalade ESV platinum sport order. So I would be a first time Cadillac owner. I am pretty savvy in dealer car economics so what I experienced was laughable. He said I would still have to pay for Supercruise even though I wouldn’t get it. Clearing up that nonsense didn’t matter because I walked away from the deal when I saw they added 16k to the sticker for the market adjustment. So that would be on top of a 114k MSRP build. Plus they offered the bottom of blue book on my trade in. Offered to take more off the price if I took less on my trade-in….lol. When I mentioned the national average and GM notice to dealers about excessive markups he said it was a recommendation and not a requirement and they sold another for close to 150k. Anyway, good to know Supercruise will actually be removed from the price and I will keep looking. I was prepared to suck it up and pay sticker for any of the trim levels but that much over sticker is like a 50k loss in value the first year with depreciation, etc. I might just go to a lower trim and look for less markup. Even if you have money to burn, that is financial lunacy.

The other side of the coin is this order is a year away. More than likely Super Cruise is not an issue by the time this order gets accepted. They should have told you this upfront.
