Thank you for posting! I was really expected a graphic showing neighboring traffic like Tesla, Hyundai and some others. The original launch videos for Lyriq back in 2021 made it seem as if there would be a graphic. With all of their talk about the Unreal Engine which is used for video Ames, i thought this would further solidify it.
The main thing is it works. Congrats. My appointment is on Tuesday.

I remember that too. I think that's where they want to be eventually. Like you though, the main thing is it works. And it's solid.
Op ended up being 7 hours on a 4/5 hour task. Car kept falling asleep. Let me see if there's anything else I can share with you. Stand by.

And given the ability to do OTA updates, and that this is on the Ultracruise stack they plan to keep implementing on, I imagine we are going to see a lot of refinements/improvements down the road.
Can you confirm whether lane centering works at all when not on mapped roads? My understanding is that SC is all-or-nothing based on mapping, but just curious if you can confirm.

It's still built on UC, for sure. There's no additional apps.
You still get lane minding when not on mapped roads, but it's just okay. It does well enough to assist driving though.
However, nothing like SuperCruise.
I've tried other variants of SC in the past, by far this implementation is already top crust.

Thank you for the update.
The dealer told me one part of the update was 3.x hours and the other was 3.x hours and a little bigger. I was also told since it is one recall, it may be a stacked update so you can’t just do one of them without the other. So my goal is to go in first thing in the morning, they will address my (inability to see charge status) my blank screen and the Super Cruise recall.
Does anyone know where we can find aa listing of Lyriq software updates? I would like to be able to keep a record on if i am current on software versions or not. I might move this question to quibbles.

Wait, so it will do lane centering on all roads. I assume it is hands-on on those roads. If so, that is great news. The marketing materials seem to say it is hands-off or nothing.
I think they're just referring to lane keep assist (LKA). My understanding is that Super Cruise is all or nothing.
Around me there are sections of highway that aren't available for Super Cruise so I'm curious how it handles disengaging when it hits an unmapped stretch of road.

Don’t see an option in the app. Hopefully my dealer can install this over the weekend. Has anybody been getting loaners to have this installed?

I am waiting for a call back regarding a loaner. My feeling is that you will have to wait weeks for a loaner to become available. I will ask them if I can use my XT4 trade-in as a loaner.

I’m getting this installed on Tuesday and my dealer will be providing a loaner.
I did have a previous appt for another issue and added the Supercruise update to my existing appt
Curious why you would assume that. The recording feature has been stated some time ago as being removed (GM order guide), and that Surround Vision (not recorder) would be enabled with a future software update. It certainly possible they may roll out recording as a future update or paid update, but this update was not supposed to include it.
Overall both SuperCruise and the Surround Vision look pretty unpolished at this point. Functional, but looks more engineering level and not end-customer ready. I'm not too familar with what SuperCruise looks like on other GM's, but the pop-up text dialog boxes versus graphic indications just seem very beta (if not alpha) - on such a nice hi-rez screen that the Lyriq has.

If it's like other implementations of SuperCruise, it gives you plenty of warning, including the steering wheel flashing red. I believe it is similar to what happens when it thinks you aren't paying attention. After the warning it brings the car to a stop before it enters the unmapped zone.
