Oooooh snap.
Operation is 5 hours of work.Recall is valid.
Programming available.
Operation underway.
More to come.
Anytime. Thanks for all the info. So needs to happen at the dealer then, not an OTA?
As always, I'll provide as much information as I can when it's available.I wonder if the update was too large for OTA and they needed external storage or perhaps they needed a test run after install to make sure it took so they created this recall.
People need to hold dealers to the PDI, and ensure updates / recalls are performed before taking delivery of the car. Guess that should be a sticky post lmao. You would certainly hope so, if they are prepped properly. I also think it means it will be factory installed moving forward, or at least for the 2024 run.
This is somewhat of a challenge right now, but our running software round up post is accurate enough. We need to figure out a way to keep up with current software versions etc. A list that somehow is updated, or better yet a link to current versions so we can ensure we’re up to date. That would make the best sticky.
How do dealers know what to add to car? Do they have a web site to check?
Any ideas?
Both. Check your recalls in your account management area for the car.WHere do you guys see this? In the app, or on GM site, or?
I'll post about it as soon as I have something quantifiable. I promise.I'm really excited to hear howUltraCruiseSuperCruise works tomorrow
It was put on hold over night. Process also involves testing.20 hours passed and still in progress?
Understood. Count on it. There’s many SC enabled road systems around here.I’m so looking forward to your first drive. Maybe a video ?😉
Rumor has it, this is done.Expect an update within an hour.
