My car is already at the dealer to see if a small bundle of fit/finish crinkles could get ironed out and I did ask if they could apply any latest software updates.
Guess I'll see in a week or so (hopefully) if this was one of them.

I’m at the car dealer now having my car service for various software bugs. They confirmed there is some update regarding super cruise and surround vision.

So I see all these notices posted here from the app. Is the car saying there is an OTA ready to be downloaded, or do you have to go back to the dealer and have the car updated by them (plugging in a tool, or using a USB stick / SD card)?

Just the things that I've shown in the bugs/quibbles thread:

• Small bit of paint peeling up just in the bottom corner of the front driver turn signal
• glovebox/jewelry box issues
• liftgate lightbar being slightly unaligned vs the rear quarter lights

I wonder if the update was too large for OTA and they needed external storage or perhaps they needed a test run after install to make sure it took so they created this recall.
