An effective adhesive remover that doesn't damage many things is WD40. I would proceed with a hairdryer first.
Sun Visor
Hey,
So my father decided to try to pull the airbag warning off the sun visor. It started to tear and leave glue when it was about a quarter of the way off so he decided to stop. Does anyone have any reccomendations on how to get the glue and sticker off or how to get it to sit flat back up there?

I replied last time before realizing the back of the visor is fabric. Not sure I'd use Goo Gone or WD40 on that.
