Hey,
So my father decided to try to pull the airbag warning off the sun visor. It started to tear and leave glue when it was about a quarter of the way off so he decided to stop. Does anyone have any reccomendations on how to get the glue and sticker off or how to get it to sit flat back up there?
Thanks
PS: spring is here and it feels good to get a good washing done.

I used a hair dryer. Get it warm, then start to peel it off all the time leave the hair dryer blowing on it....use the dryer on low heat so you don't burn your fingers.....once you start, don't stop...keep a steady pulling pressure on it. My visors look really good.....you really can't tell they were on there unless you really look closely.

Good luck.

Um... If there is glue still stuck on the visor, You can try this product called "goo gone." I don't remember where you can get it. Maybe traget or walmart. If not you can always try rubber alcohol.

Sun Visor Sticker

Try this 3 step procedure:

1. apply heat with a hair dryer in the low setting and slowly peel off that ugly sticker as others have suggested;
2. the residual adhesive left behind can be removed with some mineral spirits applied with a soft, clean cloth;
3. finish off by using some foam carpet cleaner and dry with another soft, clean cloth.
You could just paint over the damn things but that's not really advised -at least by me.

I used "Goof Off". It's the same as "Goo Gone". I peeled off the labels, applied a generous amount of Goof Off to a clean white linen cloth, and rubbed away the residual glue. It's takes some elbow grease and quite a bit of that stuff, but it works and there is no staining.
