A few members have upgraded to drilled rotors. Pete sells cryo treated stock sized rotors. RobertCTS has a set of these. I think Wilwood makes 13" front and rears for the CTS. Brembo makes a special order only set of 14" Gran Turismo brakes (which I have). Both these will run somewhere in the $3500 to $4000 range. Baer also makes a 14" kit, that uses your stock calipers, with their spacer. HaveBlue has these.

There are several options, but you have to figure your budget first. Hawk HPS pads seem popular, too.

I've seen Dubbed's also, and they look great...I'm running Cadillac MotorSports (Pete) OEM rotors and using Hawk Performance ceramic pads...no problems with them either..but you do have a lot of options.

The paint is called G2 two part Epoxy paint. It's self leveling leaving no brush marks. It is pricey but bargains can be found. The Brembo logo is a high temperature vinyl sticker. Mine have stood the test of many high pressure car washes. Very easy to do but allow overnight for slow drying epoxy paint. Here's a link to the VHT Brembo Stickers:

Dang Bob, you almost hit me!!! Oh wait, that was just a big picture of your wheel...whew... Brakes look tight, what kind of wheels are those? I'm keeping my eye out for a nice set of 18" 5-spokes; I like the look of yours but I'd have to go with something other than black. Only problem is stock-sized brakes look so small inside 18" 5-spokes...

Kyowa rims from Victoria Tire and Wheel. It comes in chrome also. About $250 each. I stayed with the OEM size rotors to save some bucks. To me the cross drill/slotted work is primarily for effect and work well with the rims.
I think they do that.

Next time look before you step off the curb Doc!!:D

You may want to check out the offer here:
http://cadillacforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=56610
Where you can get the the most complete 14", six pot caliper kit for the CTS with a number of options.

If that proves more than you were looking for TCE, an exclusive builder of Wilwood special applications, offers two other kits for this car based on a slightly smaller 13" rotor.
Often wheel selection plays a vital role in the final fit of selected kits and TCE comes to the table with a flexible product line.

Cadillac MotorSports can offer you a variety of options to fit just about any budget. Please email us at [email protected]***********************

We can offer you everything from an OEM sized rotor which is fronts at 11.9x1.25 and rears at 11.7x.10 in either a one piece rotor configuration or even a 2 piece configuration with a separate rotor and anodized billet aluminum hub hat in a variety of colors.

With regard to the rotor portion; can cross drill them, slot them and every rotor is cryogenically thermal treated and warranted against rotor cracking.

We can also offer you the same rotors in one piece or two piece configurations in a true big brake size which would be fronts at 14" x 1.25" and rears at 14.4" x 1.10". We can offer you these large sized rotors and caliper mounting hardware where you can use your existing OEM calipers!

No one offers a kit like the one described above where you can use your existing calipers and have custom 14" front and 14.4" rear rotors in either one piece or two piece build configurations.

If you have any interest or want to learn more; please email us directly at: [email protected]***********************

best regards:
Cadillac MotorSports, Limited

We also now offer nickel plating rather than tin zinc plating which provides a much more durable rust protection.

The last 2 posts were blatant advertisements, and nothing said from the mods. Yet, if we as usual forum members try to list something here, it gets closed. I think thats wrong.

OnePhatDude. ***deleted by user...unjustified opinions, poor timing** My choice would have to be going with Ebay, and a certain seller online. Dubbed Stealth has his rotors. THis guy doesn't list his good rotors on ebay. Talk to Dubbed Stealth. I think you'll look at around $600 for a good set from this guy.

OnePhatDude. If you want the best braking systems, go with a 14" set from Todd TCE. Runs about $1500. CAdillac Motorsports has repeatedly given misinformation about their own product and others. I'd like to see your proof about CMS's misrepresentation. Pete's has brought a lot of important information to this Forum. Not one who has purchased his merchandise has had any complaints.

I say go with CadillacMotorsports...I got a great set from them this time last year, still have them on, and more than 100% satisfied and I DRIVE MY CTS VERY HARD...When I hooked up with Dubbed at his dealership, his rotors looked very similar to mine....we have talked about them and the bottom line is we are both satisfied with our choices....,So whatever choice you make I'm sure you'll be happy with them..at least you have 2 customers where you can get honest tetimonials as opposed to just an advertisement.

Well, hey, if you guys are ok with Vendors advertising in threads.... What happens when the CTS becomes more popular? Will it be ok when ever 2nd post is a plug?

***Sorry guys, especially supporting vendors mentioned, long wknd...as stated earlier, deleted...My ApologiesI still stand by my opinion that advertising shouldn't be allowed in the threads to that extent tho...a simple link would suffice, let non-vendors share what they think...i know it's just specifications, but***

By the way, whoever gave me negative feedback, at least have the man-balls enough to sign your name to it. Seriously, this ain't highschool.
